Dead Language Vol 1

This is a pack of short dialogue samples taken from a variety of old video clips. While some of my future dialogue sample packs will follow a theme, this one is just general-use audio clips. They tend to sound good in combination with each other and with other vintage dialogue clips, or as scratched samples. 

All of these samples were clipped from public domain videos available for free at the Prelinger Archive at archive.org - the link is below. If you're wondering why I'm charging you money for something you can download for free, I'll tell you: I spent six weeks digging through this archive, watching  that was marked as public domain, and downloading every one that had even one word worth sampling. Then I spent another week listening through my full-length video clips to pick out every usable snippet of dialogue, clean it up, and sort it for future distribution. And I have yet to scratch the surface of what this archive has to offer. It will take me several  weeks to finally clip and clean every suitable sample. Why the fuck would I do all that work for nothing?

Because of the variety in audio quality from video to video, audio quality of the samples varies a bit from file to file. This was unavoidable; however, I did do my best to get the audio as clean as possible given the grittiness of the source material, and I refused to include a clip if it didn't come out as cleanly as I had hoped.

I only clipped audio from videos that were explicitly marked as Public Domain. I included video titles in the filenames - a couple of these titles may be inaccurate, because some filenames from the website didn't match the video titles. I believe they should still be searchable using the included title, however, if you're looking to verify that a clip definitely is in the Public Domain.
